About

Hey Passengers!

How are you?

I’m reaching out to give you an update on what I have been up to for the last five years.

During the lockdown period, like so many of us, I found myself alone, anxious, and unsure how to make sense of what was happening. One day, after a breakdown in the shower, I felt a clear message: use your creativity to connect to others. So I sat at my keyboard and wrote — and wrote — until 14 original songs emerged. Each one captured a moment, a relationship, or an emotion from my own pandemic journey.

When I shared the music with my friend and collaborator, writer Derek Denckla, he said, “Ben, this is part of a much larger story.” Even though he was in L.A. and I was in New York, we built the show together over Zoom — fitting for a piece born from isolation. That project became…Corona Crazy: The Musical

And now something amazing has happened: our show has been selected for the January 2026 New York Theater Festival’s Winter Festival!!!

To bring Corona Crazy: The Musical to the stage with the full cast, rehearsals, and production support it deserves, Derek and I have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise $12,500.

I’m reaching out today because your early support would mean the world to me. If COVID touched your life (and I know it has)… and if live theatre has ever helped you feel seen or healed… I hope that you’ll get on board with us.
